<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The 7 Worst Ways To Do Push-ups</span></strong></p>
<p>1.) <strong>The Stinker: </strong>The stinker push-up is aptly named due to the pronounced piking of the posterior. By elevating the hips in this format one loses the core training effect characteristic of a perfect push-up and sets themselves up for a host of potential injury risks… including getting kicked in the gluteals by yours truly! Things tend to get even worse when one performing the stinker push-up ,actually lets out a little stinker of their own&#8230;</p>
<p>2.) <strong>The NC-17 Push-up A.K.A The X-Rated Push-up A.K.A Pelvic Possibilities:</strong> This crappy push-up is characterized by an exaggerated sagging of the hips as if the goal is more procreation and lesspush-up. This type of push-up CANNOT be performed unless in the presence of some form of baby-making music. Maybe some Luther Vandros…</p>
<p>3.) <strong>Resting Push-ups:</strong> It involves assuming a push-up position while completely relaxing every muscle in your body as you rest on the floor. In some cultures they call this sleeping. It is often performed by lazy people who are looking for a swift kick to the genital region.</p>
<p>4.) <strong>Standing Push-ups:</strong> This push-up is best described as an “air” push-up with little to no resistance as one pushes horizontally while being nearly vertical to the wall. Chances are that if you find these types of push-ups challenging, you most likely only have 5 more days to live…</p>
<p>5.) <strong>Micro Push-ups:</strong> These push-ups involve a range of motion that is barely visible to the naked eye and involve unnecessary ridiculous claims like “one thousand one, one thousand two… and so on”. It’s almost like looking at a drill hammer and seeing it quietly vibrate.</p>
<p>6.) <strong>Make-Out Push-ups:</strong> What would it look like if one kissed mouths with the floor during a push-up? Look no further than the make-out push-up characterized by a total disregard for human life. Leading with the head will certainly increase the risk of catastrophic injury… and no just because your lips touch the floor doesn’t mean your doing it right!</p>
<p>7.) <strong>No Shame In My Game Push-ups: </strong>This one is guaranteed to collectively destroy your elbows, shoulders, and back. You’ll often see someone completely collapse on the floor only to battle their way back up to the top of a push-up position like a fish out of out water. Frankly… it’s hard to watch….</p>
<p><strong>TO PERFORM PERFECT PUSH-UPS:</strong></p>
<p><em>-       Spread your fingers to take pressure off of your wrists and place your hands about shoulder-width apart</em></p>
<p><em>-       Focus on leading your chest to the floor while maintaining a straight line from your head through your heels</em></p>
<p><em>-       Lower with control, pause briefly at the bottom, and explode back to the starting position</em></p>
<p><em>-       Tight glutes, abs, and elbows will keep your joints safe</em></p>
<p><em>-       When performed correctly, the push-up is a total body exercise like no other</em></p>
